As the owner/operator of North Coast Flight School Inc. I feel it is my duty to train students in all aspects of aviation in order to make them the safest and most knowledgeable pilots in the area. I hope to personally work with each of our students as they train with us.

Fred Morrison - CFII ASEL, Helicopter CFII, North Coast Flight School Chief Flight Instructor
Fred is a retired Navy helicopter pilot who graduated from Commodore Perry High School in Hadley, PA. While in the Navy, he earned his BS in Physics at the Naval Academy and completed Naval Flight School to receive his “wings of gold” in 1998. He has flown a variety of missions including helicopter flight instruction, shipboard operations, logistics, external cargo, and Search and Rescue in both the maritime environment and the inland mountainous terrain of the Pacific Northwest. In 2017, Fred became the newest helicopter pilot for STAT Medevac. His interests include flying, motorcycle riding, hunting, and tinkering with his old car.

Bryan Loomis - CFI-AGI-IGI
Bryan is a local guy hailing from Edinboro, PA. He first began flying at 10 years old taking some airplane rides and getting some stick time flying Piper Cubs at Dart Airport in Mayville, NY. Later in his late teens his aviation mentor Ken (Vern) Bittner helped Bryan get a job at North Coast Flight School where he worked to take flying lessons. Bryan earned his private pilot certificate in September of 2008 at the age of 19. After some time away from aviation, Bryan returned to NCFS as an AGI/IGI and is now a Commercial pilot and a Certified Flight Instructor. In addition to flight instructing, running the drone program, and teaching the the AERO ACADEMY classes, he enjoys hunting, fishing, playing with his band, as well as spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Andrew Jacobs - CFII ASEL
Andrew is also a local guy coming from Conneaut Lake, PA. He recently graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics in May 2023. At Kent State, Andrew worked through his Private Pilot Certificate all the way to becoming a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument. He got into flying when his uncle introduced him to it in high school. Andrew aspires to be an airline pilot when he gets the required amount of hours to move on to the airlines. In addition to flying Andrew also enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his friends and family/girlfriend.
